Pre-evaluation: The jury evaluates the entries on the internet, carries out the pre-evaluation process by voting according suitability to the award context and application requirements, and originality criteria.

Rewarding: Owners of products which pass pre-evaluation stage are invited to the exhibition which take place in İstanbul by the award secreteriate. Prior to opening of the exhibition, juries formed of experts from specific sectors (product classes) evaluate the exhibited real products for the product design awards and presentation boards for the conceptual design awards. For those products which cannot be exhibited in the exhibition hall because of their size, the jury will examine their scaled models and/or large photographs.

Presentation: Awards are published to the press and public through an award ceremony on the opening day of the exhibition, which is the next day of the evaluation. Exhibition is open to the public, press establishments, public institutions, manufacturing companies, high level representatives of business life together with all actors of design world. Together with the exhibition a conference is organized where academic personel and professionals with national and international respectability, are invited and where updated information and approaches are shared. Following the exhibition in İstanbul, together with the exhibition in Ankara, information regarding the award winning designs are shared with participants through professional presentations prepared by owners of award winning designs.
