Product design award application can be done by the manufacturer or brand owner company representative or the designer.

Design Turkey Awards invite applications of product designs which are manufactured with industrial methods, with certain functions aiming at reaching the end users. Candidate products need to be lounched in the market at most three years ago (earliest 1 January 2007). Hand made products or prototypes can not apply for the award. Food and chemistry products and textile design, fashion design and graphic design  are out of the context. If only the graphic design is unseperable part of the product, it will be evaluated together with the product.  

Below products can apply to Design Turkey product evaluation:
1) Products designed by Turkish citizens
2) Products designed by designers residing in Turkey or design companies registered to chamber of trade in Turkey
3) Products manufactured by companies established according to Turkish Trade Law or Law of Debts.
4) Products whose trade mark is registered by the companies established according to Turkish Trade Law or Law of Debts
