Application to Design Turkey Industrial Design Awards is done on the Internet both in English and in Turkish until 10 September 2012. Application for product design can be done by (1) the manufacturer or (2) the brand owner company representative or (3) the designer(s). A company or designer may apply for the award with more than one product. Products of any product design evaluation jury members, their close relatives, or the companies the jury members are working at, or the products manufactured by the companies the jury members are working at cannot be a candidate for the award. The application is done in three steps.
STEP 1: Application for Pre-Evaluation
The application form which is filled out on the internet requires information regarding the brand owner company, (if dfifferent) manufacturing company and designer(s), information about the product and design, and at least two digital photos taken from different angles. The form is filled both in Turkish and in English. While filling the form, attention should be paid to the character limitations. During the application below listed information are also needed in order to fill out the forms:

The applicant is requested to pay an application fee for every product s/he applies for the award system. If the application is made for more than one sector, the applicant needs to pay the application fee for each sector.
Application fee for every product that is a candidate for the Design Turkey awards is 100 TL. The fee should be deposited into the below bank account owned by Industrial Designers Society of Turkey.

STEP 2: Submission of Information for the Exhibition Catalogue

STEP 3: Application for the Main Evaluation
The applicants of product designs who have passed the pre-evaluation stage are invited to the exhibition and requested to comply with the following procedure until 23 October 2012
The applicants are required to submit a sample product as indicated in the application to the exhibition hall on the date which will be announced later.
The applicants of the products which cannot be exhibited in the exhibition hall because of their size, are requested to provide good quality scaled models and/or large photographs. The applicants will be further informed about the details of the exhibition system and the exact time of delivery of the exhibition material. The assembly of the exhibition material should be done by the guidance of the authorised person from the applicant firm.
