CREATING VALUE FOR LIFE BY DESIGN
Besides creating value for business, design creates value for many aspects of everyday life. A product acquires a new “economic value” by its design when it is produced and marketed. It creates a “use value” when it fulfills our need and brings benefits to our life. If this benefit can be expanded among society, then a “social value” is created. The conference will discuss the value that design creates at different levels for the user, society, environment and business, and value creation process will be demonstrated through case studies.
